Dustin Pedroia: Catcher?
It seems with Jason Veritek ailing, and with the other emergency catchers on the DL (Alex Cora and Mike Lowell, respectively) Dustin Pedroia has come forward, offering to catch if needed. Apparently, the last time he did it was in high school.
Am I a bad fan for hoping this happens, if only for the sight of Dustin in catcher's gear? I can just imagine the trash he'd be talking to all the batters.
