I started the second session of summer class this week. The first week of classes always has to have some kind of issues surrounding it. I signed up for this class, after all, just to get the six credit hours necessary to qualify for Pell Grant stuff over the summer. I kind of raised an eyebrow when the schedule said I was in room 109 of the Athletic Center, but no matter.
So I show up for class on Monday eager to learn about Abnormal Psychology thankfully having finally taken Psych 101 and not fucked it off for the millionth time. It should be noted I took it at SUNY Potsdam and never showed up cause it was at 9am, took it ECC years ago and left on a medical incomplete, took it again at Buff State and missed the final exam, before finally passing it last semester. With an A+ I'll add, which is not as great an accomplishment when you've been over the material that many times. I could probably recite a General Psychology textbook.
Getting back to the point I showed up like the eager little student I am. Got dropped off by my little brother and made my way to room 109, when this is what I happen across.
There were a number of things that went thru my head at this point. Not the least of which was wondering if this was some kind of prank that the Abnormal Psychology teacher pulls on the first day of class. If so I felt it was very gender biased. I did actually look inside to verify that it was not a class room and did not have a teacher in it. I also looked around for hidden cameras.
Turns out, since I didn't care to look very hard at the class when I was selecting it, I signed up for one at the city campus instead of the north campus. *facepalms*
