Cell Phone Woes
So I got a phone call this afternoon. Mom called me at work. "I have some bad news..." Oh crap. Gma? I start freaking out. "It's not Gma". Ok good. "I got the Nextel bill today...you owe 200 bucks for your part of the bill." Shit. Apparently, I have 500 minutes a month. Peak minutes. Unlimited night and weekend. No big deal. Well, apparently I used 518 extra minutes. 190 dollars in overage charges. I only use my phone in the evening! Sure, there are some conversations that begin before 9, but not too far before that. I think I got screwed on this one. Can't wait to look at the phone bill. Should be about 20 pages long. Wow. So that's fun. Tomorrow I will be going to the Nextel store and changing my plan. This is crap! I thought 20 bucks over last month was bad. Oh man. Glad I have a good job! Not that good, though. So much for fun stuff for a little while. Ugh.
