Exactly. And they're not designed to be used for target practice in the middle of the desert either.

I think you're missing my point. I'm not against guns, in fact i'm going pheasant hunting this weekend. You don't see people in the streets with hunting rifles. You don't see people hunting with automatic assault weapons (usually, hehe). And you're right, it is the person, not the gun, but I'm more scared of a gang holding a bunch of uzi's then a gang holding a bunch of .30-06's. We can't control the person holding the gun and doing the killing, but we can control the gun that he's holding. What's wrong with that?

What else are these guns going to be used for?
