Deanna dragged her tired (and slightly lop-sided) ass out of bed. Dusk had fallen and a cool breeze filtered through the window as she opened it. Of late her dreams had been... dangerous, bidden with calls of fire. She shook her head, hair cascading down. Leaning against the window frame, she let out a small sigh.
Victoria had not seen her lover for some time. A mixture of loneliness and confusion had brought her almost exclusively to the room allowed in physical maker's personal home. There had been a distinct feeling of isolation in general, which when combined by being prohibited to make another in fanged image, meant unsettlement stirred.
Sounds though... There were sounds. Vampiric hearing ensured they reached ears. By the time she investigated, silken gown upon her, the sight of Deanna caused a multitude of emotions to flow over her, there and then. Hands crossed the attire, wrapping it defensively tighter and child wondered what had brought parent back again.
"The prodigal mom returns..."
She'd heard Victoria's lightly-trodden footsteps outside the room. Deanna didn't turn; her thoughts floated out there, somewhere above the London skyline. "Missed you munchlet."
Eyebrow rose, either in amusement or skepticism, probably a mixture of both. "Sometimes I wonder..." Door closed behind her and Victoria began to make the slow walk toward benefactor of immortality. "I was kind of hoping you'd see to the promise of accepting Juliet in the family. I know," she held off, hand momentarily turning palm up to avert explanations or excuses. "Something always came up... I don't even have a clue where she is now. I do know she was getting pissed off with all the waiting. I didn't know what to say."
"Yeah... sorry hon." Deanna turned, a certain sadness in her eyes. "I haven't exactly made myself available. I've been kinda... distracted." She shook her head, as if to throw away the fuzziness that was her constant companion of late.
"I've also got a bone to pick with you about a certain Slayer, but that can wait..." Victoria had just been speaking matter-of-factly. No menace behind her words so far. She would have been within her rights to display it, but either couldn't be bothered or felt there would be little point. A sniff was made, but not for scent, just for the clarity of waking own mind to the surrounding circumstances. A hand reaching out, smoothing through the sire's long hair, relaxing her without a command needing to be given. "So... Gonna' tell me what's been getting you so fascinated recently?"
Deanna's head leaned back, instinctually, at her childe's touch. "It's that damn stone I pulled recently. Remember how it sang when you touched it?"
The motion paused, then continued. Victoria's attention swayed for a moment of time. "Go on..."
"It won't shut up."
A single amused exhalation was made in reply and Vicky said the most obvious thing which came to mind. "Then pull the plug and throw it away."
"I don't think it's that simple hon." She turned to face Victoria, running one hand along the girl's arm. "It's looking for something. Like it's missing a piece. Kind of like when we're apart. You may not think it, but I do miss you."
The need to breathe, to make a long inhalation and sigh, was a mental inclination. Victoria's eyes had cast down to where hand was at arm. Like a kid who had lost her kitten and was being tormented by seeing new ones in a pet shop. "Yeah, well..." Looking away, perhaps as an excuse, to the door as if to make sure it was closed, the eyes then returned to Deanna's face again. "I can believe it... It's just you've got a funny way of showing it at times." Mouth almost made a smile, but not quite. They did have a connection and a powerful one at that, but the parting moments tended to be that much more effective because of that. "You might as well know that if I find her again and she asks me to do it, I will... I can't trust you enough to wait around anymore." There it was. She'd said it. consequences be damned... At least Deanna was forewarned.
"Well it's about fucking time." A smile formed, moonlight catching her eyes.
That was unexpected. Then again, perhaps not so. It was like the look Deanna had one night she'd turned Vicky herself. "Oh...?"
Deanna sat on the chair by the window. She took care to cross her legs, smoothing out her pajamas. "Remember the zoo?"
With the most pressing matter taken off her mind, Victoria brazenly slid legs either side of her, straddling maker in chair. "I've still gotta' get you back for that, you know..."
Deanna's hands ran up the girl's back, nails scratching through the loose material. "Yeah, but what did you learn?"
There was no flinching. More to the point, there was no orgasmic reaction. Not that it wasn't enjoyable. Victoria had merely learned to adjust to such attentions well. The difference between an alcoholic and wine taster. "To hunt... To survive. To get just a little narked at you for leaving me there for longer than you promised to," she teased in sentiment.
"You could have left. You had the choice."
"Um, electrified fences and lions wandering about?" Vicky leant to ear, hands sliding around either side of neck. "I might be Undead Supergirl these days but there's a reason we're able to catch human beings like we are now...!"
"You could have found a way," Deanna teased. Hands moved lower, caressing Victoria's ass. She leaned in, tongue darting out to lick the girl's neck.
Eyes closed, with something of a more relaxed smile that was familiar to the one that presented that immortality. Preoccupations with Juliet had marred recent times. But Vicky could take solace in this simple act of togetherness and relief. "Mmm.." It was a sound which spoke of stress and frustration being washed away, even in the midst of stroking hands and tongue equally. "Well, being torn apart by wild animals still had a way of scaring the shit out of me... Besides which, you told me to stay there. So I did." Lips brushed in a touch to cheek, experimenting with the reunion. "These stone things... I thought you were getting rid of them to whoever sent you?"
"And are you going to do everything I tell you?" Her hand dipped lower, under the cotton, back up to touch bare flesh. "As for the stones, they tried to fuck me over so I decided to hold onto them. And given their nature, I think others might wanna make an offer..."
She probably shouldn't be doing this at all... She'd made a promise. The rules could be bent with Angelica a little, since it was giving, not mutual receiving and, well, plus it had been a situation of grave danger and weird dimensional portals. Had she been human, Victoria may have reacted differently at the time, but vampirism altered morals. Right now? She was feeling quite wet... And needy... For sire. Thighs, wide, naked beneath the gown, had begun to feel a familiar sensation over and between them. Lips beginning to seek out Deanna's face, pressing themselves gently each time. "Anybody else in mind?"
"Right now," Deanna began, "I've only got one thing in mind." Her fingers danced between Victoria's legs, parting the girl's lips. Sliding inside.
It had been a long while since Victoria had been touched sexually and longer still by her. A shuddering intake of breath, shivering its way through her frame, bottom lip drawn in as she felt herself begin to indulge in the sin of polygamy. The fingers tightened at sire's shoulders in grip and eyes closed, knowing all too well that effect. "De... Deanna... I..."
Her face shifted, brow raised and teeth glistening. Deanna took the gasping breath from Victoria and sunk her teeth into soft, pale flesh. As she drank, her fingers curled slightly, moving faster and faster inside her childe.
"Fuck!" It was no good when things came to that. Face grimaced, eyes screwing up and Victoria found herself surrendering to the bite. Moistness transforming to fluid butterflies and ticklishness changing to a need to thrust. Head arched back, thighs trapped openly either side of Deanna's waist, even as they fought to squeeze closed around Deanna's fingers already ploughing their sexual harvest there. "God, yes...!" How she adored it... The touch of fangs. The sensation of bite. The liquid infliction of release, which would come-come-come and never let go. "De... Deanna..." The clarion call whispered, urging, needy, absorbing one vampiress to another.
But something shifted within her. Something that called out a very different command.
"No..."The eyes, still closed, flickered open there. Hands, weakly, but still retracting, in order to make a loose attempt of pushing the feeding act away. Of disengaging self from the hand so very magically busy below. "No, I... I can't... Please... No..."
She leaned back, teeth disengaging from flesh, a quick swipe of tongue to close the wound. Her hand retracted as well, a light brush against Victoria's thigh as she did. "You've got it bad for that one, don't you?"
"It's... It's not just that..." Victoria knew that she could have been panting before too long, if given enough experience. Her eyes were already heavy with need and more even than that. It had been a lot longer than Vicky was used to since having done that, which made it all the more difficult not to do. The legs were shaky enough, as it was, to withdraw and come to stand, let alone if the act had gone through to its known conclusion. "I've..." A breath was necessary. "I've had a lot of things on my mind recently... And I'm worried about what might've happened. And..." A more shy look was given after that. "And I know it's not, but I feel like... A professional. Like I should expect you to start paying me for this. You keep on breezing in and out of here when you want for days or weeks at times and I hardly ever know why. I thought we'd got over that."
"Oh for the love of..." Her head dropped back slightly as she stared at the ceiling. "Victoria, I am over two hundred fucking years old. I'm sorry if my habits worry you. I'm not mysterious and I'm not ignoring you. I'm just being me. Ask Angelica." She ran a hand through her hair. "If I don't pay enough attention then just fucking say so. I don't wanna be the one who has to make every move. You want me? Then take me. You hate that I go off and disappear every so often? Then ask to come with!"
"I don't wanna' argue... I've been doing enough of that with myself lately." It was a signal of surrender. Of acknowledgment. She knew it would be romantic, exactly and things had been described to her often enough. But it didn't stop the feelings of something not being quite right. A hand was placed to forehead, trying to steady nerves, not wanting the conflict. Inwardly, it was very much about worry over where the other girl was. If those that had been spoken about having an interest in her had found and taken. "I need to... To sleep and..."
Victoria's step began to sway.
"I need to... Not... Not argue... And... I've..." A moan and eyes, showing the worry and stress that had been building up, closed in tiredness. Hand reaching out to steady her newly unsure steps towards the door. "I've been... So..." A door that seemed so very far away. "So... Wo... Wor... Worry... Worried... Think... Thinking... A... About..."
Those same eyes flickered, consciousness relenting and Victoria passed out to floor.
