I found a cat in the parking lot. Strigoi, my fuzzy little boy, has now been with me for a year. And so, today we had a birthday party for him. He was thrilled.

The disparate eating habits of my cats are something to behold. Strigoi is obsessed with food. When I refill the bowls, he rushes over and starts gobbling it down, for fear that the food will disappear. If there is food in my bag, he will try to dig it out. Ick to the previous week. We had to go back to Houston to get some CMT's we missed in May and I have just about had it with men and the egos and their SEXIST BULLSHIT STAB STAB STABBITY STAB!! And now it's hot and I have a headache and my feet are sweaty.

So here's a video of the cats. This is a pretty typical dinnertime scene.

The last two days have been rather hectic, with basically every room in the inn needed. This weekend sees both a golf group and a wedding (oh joy, oh joy). All I ask is that no one vomit. The week seems to have lasted forever. Last weekend, we had three weddings and a funeral (one wedding shy!). Sunday was interesting. I came downstairs and discovered regurgitated cat food on the carpet. As if that wasn't bad enough, in the laundry room there were CAT DOOTS ON THE FLOOR. Her litter box is right there. I did my job hunting from home today. I was just too damn tired to tart myself up and hand out resumes (that can then be tossed in the trash). Also, the idea of going out while it was thirty-seven degrees was just too daunting.
