Oh, wasn't it fab? So many great lines, plus scariness (though I agree with you on the fangy bit, not as effective as the blank faces. Made them seem less like statues).
Presumably the Doctor had to leave Sally and Lawrence behind so he could meet them later? I wish we could have Sally as a companion though, she was great.
He/she/they definitely met a past companion/incarnation. It happened.)
Oh Sally should have her own show, I loved Sally like almost instantly. She was a smartass, and I like and encourage such behavior. Also, Moffat can't help bringing the funny...I mean there were so many subtle jokes..god I think I even snorted, so I think that trumps your public squeaking (uhm or squeeing) lol. Man this was perfect! Although yeah, wanted more Billy/Sally flirting, although Lawrence was alright as a rebound.
lol yeah well it was about 10 minutes for me, I wasn't ready for handholding yet haha. I did adore Lawrence though, and I'd totally watch a Sparrow and Nightingale spinoff. Yeah I recognised him too, no idea where from though.
I HAVE SO MUCH LOVE FOR THIS EP AND HAVE BEEN CAPSING SINCE I FINISHED WATCHING AND PROBABLY NOT GOING TO STOP ANYTIME SOON SO SORRY BUT SALLY WAS AWESOME AND LARRY WAS AWESOME AND I WAS SO SAD FOR BILLY AND JACK NEXT WEEK YAY!
I never got scared (not easily scared, me) but geez, there are going to be some traumatised kids out there who are now afraid to look away from statues. They just couldn't resist that bit at the end, couldn't they?
I loved the part when the doctor met billie (a timey wimey machine that beeps when it senses 'stuff' and boils an egg at thirty paces.)
i made my brother watch it with me the second time (the first, on my own, very excited coz i waited pretty much the whole day for it to download - SO WORTH IT!) instead of a week or two later (as has been with every other episode.)
Twice in one day!! Definitely a favourite. Even without too much of the doctor. and now i like martha again. (im so fickle with my new-companion feelings)
And i heartily agree. Sally shoulda become a companion. I was so sad when the TARDIS went without them (and i thought they were going to be killed or something) but then i saw the point when she gave the doctor all of her notes. :)

Also, I recognise Lawrence from somewhere. But I can't think where. It's really rather annoying.
