WHOOHOOO I MADE A PICTAH.
It's just lineart for now, done on paper with pencil and then inked, cleaned up in photoshop. I'm gonna do two versions, one in photoshop, and one in more traditional media. I really excited to see the differences, it's been forever since I've done anything in photoshop.
i watched the movie Legion a few days ago and ever sense then I've been having dreams about a Kevin Durand-esque gabriel and the end of the world. It's not quite like Legion, though. The dreams have all been sequential and the story is slowly unfolding. My brain is weird.
The basic scenario is that the time has come for the doors of hell to be opened wide on Earth, and there are three human guardians of these doors. One man and two girls. All of these are descended from the Nephilim (offspring of a human and an angel), from thousands of years ago. In the dream, I'm one and so is a girl I used to be very good friends with and a man we both used to know. Gabriel basically, has descended from the heavens to protect and guide us so that humanity stands a chance. In the dream, as soon as he told me, I started calling up my closest friends and was like "GET TO MY HOUSE RIGHT NOW". So there's about 25 people living in my house, plus a 6'6 angel with a thirteen foot wingspan.
They're pretty interesting dreams. I've started writing some of them down. Anyway. This could be strictly Legion fanart (you can substitute Audrey for me in the picture) or it can just be some angel holding a girl.
