the best weekend ever
my concert was amazing. i was happy to see my mom.
meanwhile, my uncles (who are sigma chi's from UO) surprised me and flew out for initiation, which was the next night--- they showed up before the concert and hid from me until the afterparty at the bar--- where they proceeded to buy rounds for anybody within earshot. They went to bed around 2, my mom and i stayed out until 4. it was fantastic. drunken and tired, we went back to her hotel room and crashed in our respective beds. the next day, we had brunch with the uncles, then i showed them around campus, then my mom left for portland.
my uncles and i went to a park by the lake and played kickball with a lot of old alumni from the Waiters(that's the singing group)--- there were about 30 alumni there, so we had a good time with them. Then i had a last meal with my pledge class at the dining hall then i got in my suit and went to be initiated.
Then it is secret until today, when i got initiated!
it was awesome.
now my uncles have also left, they are on their way back to portland, so nice to have them around for the weekend.
and now, i can wear sigma chi letters all i want---
im officially a frat dogggggggg----and a musician, son, nephew, performer, ladies man, sigma chi brother, and lest we forget outrageously goodlooking. outrageously.
