(no subject)
So I just got back from the boy's hockey game...unfortunately, they played like crap! But what can you expect from a bunch of guys that are going to school or work all day & then expected to stay up late and play a game at 11:30 at night?! The entire game I was "trying" to study for a Literature exam that I have tomorrow. Now, usually I am very productive at these games. I get a lot of my best studying done sitting on the bleachers of Joe Dumars, but tonight was a whole different story! The other team had an ontourage! And to make things worse all the guys in this little fan club were drunk, and all the girls were complete morons! This is such a bad combination...especially for Ashley to deal with. Let me give you an exact quote from one of these aformentioned girls halfway through the game..."OMG! Guys, I just realized this isnt ice hockey!" Need I say more?!
Moving on....Im a bit worried for this Lit Exam. I dont really know what to expect from this professor. I like her and I love going to the class, it seems like I'm always learning something new...But, her expectations for the average Oakland University student are a bit higher than they should be. Why do I think this, you ask? Because the women used to teach at YALE! Yes, Yale...like one of the Ive League colleges! Anyways, I studied but Im not real sure what to expect.
Hmm... Speaking of Oakland University...Nick got his acceptance letter today in the mail! This is good news, but he's waiting until he hears from Macomb's nursing program to decide what to do. Reguardless of where he goes...I am sooo proud of him! I am dating one of the most intelligent people that I have ever met...not to mention he's the sexiest man alive! ;) Such a combo!
So, like 14 days until I go visit Julie in Chicago!! Her older sister, Mary, and I are driving down there Friday the 24th and staying until Sunday or Monday. I've never been to Chicago and Im very excited to get to see the city. Not to mention that I get to see my long lost buddy! :)
4 MORE DAYS UNTIL VALENTINES DAY! Really, Im just excited to give Nick his present! I'm hopeing that his reaction will be priceless! I cant believe that the time has flown by this fast...I remember the day that I got his gift, I wanted to give it to him right that minute!
More exciting news...Ive started to plan my 21st birthday! Its going to be fabulous! My parents finally gave me word that they wil be paying for me to rent a party bus...How fricken awesome is that?! Obviously, that would be my one and only present. Thats all I asked for from them and I really cant believe that they're going for it. But HOT DAMN! How exciting!
