(no subject)
I just got home from furniture shopping. It's the first time we've gone in years, and it's times like these I wish I had a few local people on my flist who'd appreciate the hilarity that is shopping for furniture at Bob's. No matter though, you'll just have to take my word for it: it's a trip. There's a cafe with free food and drinks. And a koi pond. It's bizarre. We sat on tons of different couches and loveseats, but the decision ended up being so easy. Couch, loveseat, chair, curvy and puffy in all the right places, in brick red microfiber. Now there's just the issue of measuring, and frankly, I don't feel like measuring anything right now.
I made two significant discoveries today: first, Dunkin Donuts makes Boston Creme munchkins. This was like, the highlight of my life until I made discovery number two: my stomach always hurts after eating munchkins. Sad, huh? I can't believe it took me this long to figure it out. Kinda ruined a great lunch, too. Vietnamese. It was fantastic, minus the stomach ache.
I have to go to Fucking Reading on Thursday. Technically, it's just Reading, but Fucking Reading just has a better ring to it. It's... expressive. So not looking forward to it. I'm told it's an hour and fifteen minutes, but I've never done it in under two because the traffic is always crazy.
I think my boot obsession has finally waned. Good thing, too! My attention is currently focused on making icons and admiring people who manage multimedia involvement in muptiple fandoms. Seriously.
