Everybody, say hello to my new boots:
I think. I picked them up today at DSW, in black, of course, and they're different, but good. The calf is a little wide, and the top is a little weird, but they slouch in all the right places, and they're really flattering. If I do keep them, I'll probably look into having the top strap altered so I can make them a bit tighter. I honestly didn't expect to want to keep them, but all they had were really large sizes except for the pair I got, which is a 7.5. I generally wear a 6.5 or 7, but the size is okay -- I honestly don't understand shoe sizes; they're totally not uniform. But anyway, that's why I bought them -- they only had the one pair in anything resembling my size, so I figured I'd better take them and figure it out later. Oh, and they really don't have a heel, which, surprisingly, doesn't bother me all that much. And they seem to be pretty comfortable, too, so that's a plus. $90, though, so not much cheaper than the Harleys. Which kind of stinks because I really think I need a pair of tall brown boots with skinny heels. Though honestly, I'm not 100% on that.
Like I said, I take my boots seriously.
Also, maybe someone can help me out with this: Where do you buy jewelry? I know it's a dumb question, but I haven't bothered with it in so long, I don't know where to start!
