Well, my boots came in about ten minutes ago, and they're going back just as soon as I can shove them out the door.
They're cute enough in a butch way, and really comfortable, but they're not me. For one thing, they're quite unshapely. They look nice and curvy in pictures, but they're not. They flatter the ankles about as well as a pair of moon boots, and I'm not really sure what that means, but I've got a feeling it's spot on. Plus, they're way bigger than my legs at the top with no way to adjust them. And I know I just said butch, but the toe is rather feminine, and I like a more rugged shape. Yay for free shipping both ways, though. And also, I wouldn't hesitate to buy Harley boots now; they're damn comfortable and seriously well made.
So, bootless again. Back to Zappos. Sigh.
