Sick and Tired
I've had it. I'm done with work. Emotionally kaput. Here's what I'm sick and tired of: switching offices every day and playing catch-up because I wasn't there the day before. I will admit that it is better than working a half-day in each place, because then I can sink my teeth into projects but even then it's not like you can complete all projects in one day, especially with the phone always wringing and with both bosses constantly needed you for whatever, whenever.
This comes after working a 6 day week, which included spending overtime in the legal department to finish a tax mailing AND working a Saturday with a workshop in Oceanside, and then this week I had Chrism Mass which was back-breaking bottle-pouring on Monday and then a really really really long day yesterday. And now I'm playing catch-up trying to organize the stupid business property statements so that I can get them to the assessor in a week and a half. AND we're going to a wedding tonight that we've done NOTHING for. No card, no haircut, nada. PLUS mother-in-law in town and the only time I'll be able to see them is tomorrow morning (read: the only day I'll be able to sleep in for...?) and I'm done. That's it for me, send me to Turkey this afternoon and I'll wing it. No more prep, no more statistics, bosses, plans, people, moving, cleaning, etc.
