almost 2009
Here it is, approx 11:30 p.m. and we're so close to 2009, I can taste it. Tonight has been lovely, with thewrongtim and I getting in some date time, thanks to his lovely Mom, Aunt Linda and Uncle James. We got to eat at The Cheesecake Factory using lovely gift cards from beezersis and my mom's best friend, Donna, as well as taking in The Spirit, which was a really awesome movie.
It's been a great year. Though there have been some rocky times in America, I'm hopeful for the future. I hope it isn't blind hope, but we'll see. I've always been a bit of a reserved cynic. But here's to hoping things take a turn for the better.
