Resolutions, 2009 edition

Dec 29, 2008 14:48

For the coming year, I resolve to:

1) Get back down to my pre-pregnancy size.
2) Get back up to professional par with my bellydance.
3) Drink at least 64oz of water per day.
4) Run at least three times per week.
5) Breastfeed Story for the rest of the year.
6) Floss 1x/day (yeah, I don't do this now... I suck)
7) Enjoy Story and Tim's company as much as is possible.

I always set a lot of goals for myself, because I feel like it's hard to pin down just one thing I want to work on.  So, this is an ambitious list, but we'll see where we go from here.

Happy almost end of 2008!

*stick to my medically prescribed eating habits.- Didn't live up to this one!  Got preggo and ate like a crazyfool.  But boy, was it fun.

*do some form of exercise every day.  even if it's just dancing around like a crazy person in my room for fifteen minutes before bed.  every day, no exceptions.  my body needs to move and relieve stress. - Didn't do this either!  Had Pregnancy Lazy Pass that excused me.

*drink one big thing of water each day.- Actually did this, for the most part.  I'd give myself a C+.

*eat things because I want to, not because I feel I have to.- TOTALLY PWNED THIS ONE!

*chronicle my achievements in my LJ- Dude... forgot this one completely.

*stop being so hard on myself.  this one will be the most challenge.- Failed miserably.  I am still way too hard on myself.

*try to get outside as much as is possible.  go for walks, hikes, just hit the road.- Eh... I tried, but did a lot of lazing about.

*rediscover my yoga practice.- Hmmm... I DID discover prenatal yoga, so I think that counts.

*any other practice that makes my body feel better.- PWNED!  Lazed about, ate all the time and enjoyed pretty much every minute.  And took the liberty to do whatever I wanted physically.
Not bad, not bad... it's funny though how much having my lil Story changed these goals around a bit.  It's also ironic how a bunch of my goals for this year are carry-overs from last year.

2009, resolution
