pie update
Pie was FOR THE WIN. So deliciously yummy and satisfying.
For those who want to replicate it, it was uber easy.
Step 1: BUY SYRUP (I chose Lyle's cane syrup)
Step 2: Buy delicious bacon (I chose maple)
Step 3: Cut up delicious bacon into small, bite size/bacon bits sized pieces and fry til crispy. Drain.
Step 4: Follow the instructions for making pecan pie off the syrup label (or find one online)
Step 4b: Before you pour the filling into the pie shell, stir in bacon bits
Step 5: Bake as directed
Step 6: Enjoy alone or with whipped cream.
