Surgical Date
Hello friends,
First, allow me to thank you all for your blessings and well wishes during this long and emotional journey. Your love and your support have been the grace amidst the storm. I will always be thankful for you. For your love and for your friendships!
I am scheduled for additional brain surgery on December 4th.
It will be a similiar procedure. The Neurosurgeon needs to go back down to the spinal chord and take out a defective graft as my body has rejected it and it poses serious bacteria infection if not removed. The graft is also leaking spinal fluid so it needs to be replaced for that reason too. They will be taking a graft from my leg this time which the doctors are hoping the body won't reject "itself." I hate this all. I hate always feeling bad. I'm scared and the anxiety is unbearable.
At this point, I believe the surgery will be at Framingham Union Hospital again. I'll find out the details next week.
