No, its not a lover, but personally I don't think it very wise to get so wrapped up into somebody who isn't family to die for them unless you're gonna do it for life. No I speak of intelluctual pursuit, of the literary kind. Yesterday I was finally able to visit the bookstore at the Brea Mall and they had none of the comics I was actually looking for (The Y Man, The Runaways, and Strangers in Paradise). So instead I came across vol. 1&2 of
The Sandman.
Excellence my friends, true excellence. Since I'm kinda loopy tired, I can't quite give it justice, but its wonderful. Gaiman is an incomparable fantasy writer that with its gothic undertones somehow makes it all the more whimsical in a terrifying way. Indeed one of the books features an actual serial killer convention where an escaped nigthmare is hiding. I'm kinda gald the series is actually over really, that means I can buy them all at once. ^_^
Also other than my next step for the truth of the universe, there are sevreal other things to note.
First is, the skunks have invaded our barn. I guess the constant downpour has flooded their burrows, so now they're running around our feed room. Funny thing is, since they're babies, they're not really afraid of us so they haven't even tried to spray us. Even when I lifted off the top of a feed container and two baby skunks were inside it this morning. They are cute though with their little waddle and poofy tails. =)
And the power went out at work, so I got to come home early, yay! Of course though while I was waiting for my boss to show up two people still actually came up to the door despite the entire shopping center not having power. What makes them think we would have a back-up generator, I have no idea. >.<
Ta Leuten.
