I have been super busy the past week or so!
First, I went to York to visit Emma.
We had cocktails in evil eye and a small party at hers, then went for afternoon tea on the Sunday in Betty's. I love Betty's, it makes me want to live in the Victorian period, which would definitely be my period of choice if I could live at anytime in the past. Maybe I have read too many Victorian novels but hey.
Then I returned from York on the sunday, worked all week in the Brindley. Oh, I also had my first Get Into Reading meeting at the Ark Hostel in Birkenhead which was good. I found a recipe for apple and cinnamon cupcakes, inspired by the starbucks ones and they were very good! Maybe more sticky and sugary than the starbucks ones.
Then on Thursday I went to London with Alex, Kathy and Corinne. We went to the White Cube to see Gregory Crewdson's exhbition, then the ICA to see Loris Greaud's exhibition and then out in Camden in the evening, although we had no idea what there was to do there really so just stayed in one pub and got really drunk. The following morning I was sick in the sink in the hostel and also in Picadilly Circus tube station. Classy.
I also drank alcohol on the tube legally for one of the final times. Hurrah.
Arrived back home, very tired and a bit hungover on Friday night and then worked again on Saturday! Me and Scott watched Eurovision on Saturday, it really annoys me how England get like NO votes EVERY year. ur songs might be crap, but not EVERY YEAR! Some are half decent. Shitter songs get loads of votes. The bloody Russians winning entry was the worst out of all of them, with the shitty skater and dramatic violinist. Bah. Spain and Lativia should've got more points! Pirates and men in wigs with weird facial hair and 'chiki chiki' dance moves are obviously better than amateur dramatics and violins.
Oh I have also purchased these shoes and I am in love.
The End x
