Nate from Discover called (I thought it was Oprah's Nate) he asked for my mom. Mom shouted for me to speak to this and pay the bill with check. I gave him the routing and account number.
Nate: may I have the routing and account number please?
George: sure, it's ########## #########
Nate: Thank you sir, is there a reason why your mother was late in paying her bill?
George: (covers phone) Mom, is there a reason you were late paying the bill?
Mom: I just forgot.
George: Nate, she forgot. Also, try to keep in mind, she's a single mother working for 28 years at the same job, putting her son through college. So, she has some stress on her shoulders, she forgot to pay one bill, but remember this: shes's a mother with a son.
Nate: (silence) Allright, thank you.
