long night\day
Matthew and I spoke from 10:40ish close to 4am lastnight. He is the most interesting and brilliant guy I've ever talk too. I can listen to him for hours and hours and find myself wanting more. Matthew is most likely reading this and I just want to say: I seriously climbed the torch.
In other news, the passing of media mogul Peter Jennings. This man had journalism in his blood and he reported so well that I glued myself to the t.v listening and watching him religiously. There was this flow that streamed smoothly in his reports that's untouchable and it certainly can't be practiced. He reported around the world, lived around the world, and touched people all over the world.
The broadcast that told me Jennings would never sit back in his chair was the day he announced of his disease. As a prospective journalist, that was a sad moment and yesterday it was devastating. One day, I dream to be as good as him and not him. Peter Jennings is Peter Jennings and I'll create a name of my own.
Since I received 4 hours of sleep it's time to go and dream.
