I do like a good memory to keep in a bell jar, admire for a while, analyze, pick apart, play with, teach a few tricks to, advise it not to end sentences with prepositions, all of that.
I like ones that fit the bill, ones that matter. There's no such thing as a free lunch. Remembering what you ate for lunch today means less than remembering asking that Special Someonetm to lunch.

I find many things interesting.
Of the two, I'm more inclined to the latter than to the former.
That means the second one.
But I'd take both and it might be closer to a fair trade.
[ooc: For something like this laptop (with software, of course), it's a pretty small trade. So just a memory or two will do. The Deities tend to like it when characters give up things that leave them with odd gaps in their memories though which don't necessarily alter their personalities. Mostly because that causes some consternation for the character, which is like paying a price.]

Careful: if you offer three, I'll take three. And now that I know you have three in mind, do you think you can talk me back down to two?
Remember, this is a business dealing. You have to pay to get what you want. If you try to cheat me, well, I know I can't be held responsible for someone dropping something during transport.
[ooc: I'll take either two or three. If it's just two, it'll have to be two good ones, if that makes sense. But, as you prefer.]
Yeah, we are.

Not as much as, say, if you'd wanted the restoration of life, but, heaven help us, technology is but our lifeline in this modern silicon age.
Make me an offer. Let's negotiate. I like to negotiate.

Catch my drift?
Got any particulars you'd like to suggest?

[ Neither of them particularly sentimental or important memories, but what can you do, he's dumb. ]

Then, no, you don't. This is payment. You don't generally get your payment back unless something goes terribly, terribly wrong.
[ooc: Cool. Just laying it out so you can have some ideas and things to play with here.]
