curiously enough, a year after i posted this... i attended the Synthesis 2012 festival in Mexico, near Chichen Itza, in & around the town of Piste Pueblo https://web.archive.org/web/20120917000847/http://synthesis2012.com/lineup/speakers and Foster & Kimberly Gamble were among the speakers with top billing... they are curious people who i think mean well
but the new age movement is just riddled with snake oil salespitching
for instance, i don't think that the four agreements are bad in of themselves... especially when the fifth agreement is added but why do they have to make unsupportable claims that they are ancient Toltec teachings? Perhaps it is because they continue to draw upon the teachings of Carlos Castaneda, who wove his complex tapestry from powerfully effective mind control techniques and fantastically embellished stories of legend https://www.salon.com/2007/04/12/castaneda/
practically everything i saw at Synthesis 2012 needed to be filtered with a great deal of salt and a sense of humor attuned to the cosmic joke
also a speaker at that festival, was this guy Dr. Patrick Flanagan... he is a real trip... his ideas certainly do not fit in the box, and he has a bizarrely charismatic personality that does not seem to be overtly self-oriented i am still not sure about his science, but he certainly has some unique and complex ideas that are quite compelling & bear further research https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/neo-neural-efficiency-optimizer-neurophone#/

what about this guy, Ac Tah?
it is said that he walks from town to town in Mexico to spread his gospel, which is quite a hodge podge.
is it a case of giving the people what they want?
or is it careless guidance to use such devices?
