Things of the random variety.
Just a few random things. Only #2 is depressing, so don't worry too much about feeling down while reading the entry.
1) Tinybox is now abandoned. I have no need for it now, regardless of how awesome of an idea it is. I just don't need yet another slower computer. It isn't distracting me enough at work to plan out, so it isn't serving its real purpose either.
2) I'm stuck at work with JUST my boss here. This is truly a test of my patience, especially since his music is FAR louder than normal.
3) I'm going to build Vankiel, I think. I'm just now waiting for deals on each of the parts. I need some machine beyond Beria out in the living room, and preferrably one that doesn't crash perpetually from playing Civ4. I may end up nerfing some of Vankiel's specs though to save money. I really don't know though - I've had absolutely no input from anyone on it, and I have a reason why this bothers me (see another LJ entry that I'll post after this one).
4) I've been playing Simcity 3000 lately. Kinda nice to be able to just design things again, without worry of what happens in the future. I'm not exactly awesome at it, but good enough to have a self supporting city (after the 7th try or so. >__>).
How is Simcity 4? Is it (and its expansion) worth the 20 USD? SC2k is still one of my favorite games, 3k is okay (worse than 2k), and Classic is awesome. Anyone play Simcity?
