So I've been thinking about a car. Not just because of Jenn and Evan, mind you, I'm thinking this because ....

• I'm currently logging in 100 miles a day on a "Caprice-a-shit" that gets the same mileage as the hummers I tend to denounce
• the heat sucks
• the shocks are bad
• the air conditioning doesn't exist
• only one window works correctly

I was actually looking at the Prius! Just remember that Toyota makes an awesome car! hell, my beloved Firefly was a Toyota Echo and it was a 2003 and after we put the 85K on it, it still showed no hint of having any issues! I think you'll be scared and nervous as hell at first (I'm still kind of panicky), but it is so worth it and the more you drive the car, the more you realize that. :) I don;t think you will regret it!!!
