So I've been thinking about a car. Not just because of Jenn and Evan, mind you, I'm thinking this because ....

• I'm currently logging in 100 miles a day on a "Caprice-a-shit" that gets the same mileage as the hummers I tend to denounce
• the heat sucks
• the shocks are bad
• the air conditioning doesn't exist
• only one window works correctly
• the radio is busted
• the grill disappeared sometime this past week
• and the single cup holder won't hold anything but a 12 ounce can of soda without spills and catastrophes
  

My attention last Tuesday was on the Prius. The logic is that this year I've been really pulling myself out of a hole, and what better way to continue that than by getting a car that was actually made less than fifteen years ago? And honestly, a Prius is half of my dream car (a hybrid done up in 1920's Chrysler fashion).

My problem is that I get nervous if I have to shell out large sums of money. What if something happens, and I end up needing that money? What if I can't pay, and my credit gets worse?

Most importantly, where do I get the $23k? ;)
