Word's spellcheck dictionary makes me wonder.
For instance, it recognizes Yukari as a word, but not Chiyo.
Of course, nothing beats the oddities of loading the ebook of On Basilisk Station in there and seeing exactly what names it will flag as being not-words.
I couldn't figure Word's capacity for names out in the work environment because somebody smart in IT loaded the local employee database into the spellcheck dictionary. Which still doesn't help, because I work with 3 different men whose names are variants of Mohammed--without knowing which employee, you don't know if you're spelling his particular name right.
(And there's always the Jon vs. John bit, too, we also have that)
