I don’t know if I’ll ever understand this fascination that people around here have with killing and death. The present is not the most stable of eras. I know it’s not something that can be avoided. It would be very naive to think so. I know it’s a necessity as a way of life but it shouldn’t be something that people strive toward or encourage.
I don’t think it should be taken as a hobby. It just doesn’t seem right to derive pleasure or gratification. How can you snuff out one’s life for no reason, taking away something and simply for your own joy? It’s not something I can agree with but the residents of new Lordaeron seem to think so. But it’s not my place to publicly disagree with everyone here.
Even doing it for wealth is just as selfish in comparison, the only difference is that one is emotional and this one is material. It shouldn’t be done for money, there shouldn’t be an economy for it. It creates a cycle to goad others into this way of life.
It's hard to avoid it. Amongst the killing and dying, it's become hard to differentiate selfish gain from the selfless necessity.
