Barrens, Kalimdor - The Drunken Kodo is truly one of the main attractions of the Ratchet that shouldn’t be missed by any with the means to get there. Located near the seaside of the busy Steamwheedle Cartel trading ports, the bar has resided there for many years now.

The bar features a wide array of delicious foods and exotic dishes. Whenever their resident cook is on staff, his creations are reasonably priced and always made fresh with the catch of the day. Just one of the many luxuries offered with the proximity of the sea. The locale also hosts every type of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks imaginable. Drinks are economically priced, each being listed under a flat rate of five silver per serving no matter what the type or sort. This surely allows its customers to enjoy variety and luxury without fearing to pay too much.

It would be a gross oversight to not inform you of the environment and staff. The “Kodo” is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9pm to 11pm. The location is known for its cool sea side breeze all year long with a marvelous hill top view of the city of Ratchet. Being located next to an Inn, there is as much open space indoors with several suites of rooms available, as there are outdoors.

Notable staff members include Saraquael, the head barmaid of the “Kodo” She is known for her charming personality of being very friendly, knowing all drinks in stock and poking fires. The bar now also specially caters to Death Knights, welcoming them to their campfire to suck its warmth. Even the bar’s security staff is openly subservient to their every need. It just comes to show that the “Kodo” will accept any coin stamped with the head of Prince Arthas just as much it would accept those with the stamp of Queen Sylvanas or even Warchief Thrall.

X X X X X out of 5 stars.
