finished

The spare room is finished...at least the painting. We still have to hang art work and put all the nick knack type stuff back. Next weekend I'll make the bed up and put out freshly iron dresser scarves and towels. I hope MIL will be comfortable.
I also painted the last bit of green for transition from the dining room to the kitchen. My feet are tired and for some reason my heel has split. My feet get dry in the winter and were awful after chemo but nothing like this. Hubby massaged my feet with the thick cream that was suggested after radiation. I hope that I'll be able to walk tomorrow.
Oldest daughter and the grand kids came over for supper. Unfortunately the kids didn't want what we had, so I ended up heating up cream of mushroom soup and adding enough crackers to turn it into a thick paste for them. "Cracker soup" they call it. Oh well, at least they ate something.
Tomorrow I go to see the surgeon who did my lumpectomy. I'm not sure what exactly will be done tomorrow. I think the seroma will be drained but I don't know if he is going to remove the tiny lump under my arm. Hopefully I won't have to be admitted to the hospital for that. I just want it gone and to know for sure what it is. I'm planning to go to work afterward but thankfully I won't have to babysit the grand kids after work. I don't know if I'd be up for that. It's going to be a long day no matter what. *sigh*
