too hot
We are in another heat wave. I am so thankful that we have an air conditioner and electric fans. Otherwise I'd just be a grease spot I'm sure. Today it was 33 C or 91.5 F. Yuck!
I took Maggie to the vet today for her annual check-up and shots. Everything looks good except the vet wants her to lose about 10 lbs. I want to lose 10 lbs too, so I guess we will work on it together. I'm going to have to start picking up the dogs food if they don't eat it within an hour. Maggie often goes from bowl to bowl eating the "leftovers". They won't be too happy about the new rules but the vet advised me that if Maggie doesn't lose the weight in the next year or two it will be too late. As dogs (like people) get older it is more difficult for them to lose weight.
Our oldest daughter wants me to try and take some family photos later this summer so after a long stretch of not touching my digital camera I've charged the battery and started practicing with it. My first "project" is to take pictures of things, pets or people that represent the letters in the alphabet. So far I'm up to K. I wasn't able to download the photo editing software for my camera as the Nikon site doesn't support the model I have anymore. Thankfully I have found an app that I'm quite happy with. It will certainly do everything I need seeing that I take pictures, I'm not a photographer.
Not too much else new. I'm making feeble attempts at cleaning up my craft room, but progress is slow. Time to get a glass of water. Must hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.
