Brrr

This morning when we woke up it was 9 C or 48 F, quite the change from the last few days.
We have closed nearly all the windows in our house and I'm thinking that I might cook the fish we will having for dinner in the oven.

I wasn't able to put the software for my camera on my iMac, but I did find a photo editing app that seems to be able to do what I want it to. Thankfully I can view all of my photos that I saved to an external hard drive before decommissioning my old Macbook.

Yesterday was quite the banner day for firsts. No, no more domestic animal visits but I did see a Rose Breasted Grosbeak sitting on our garage roof while we were enjoying coffee on our deck.

Not my picture.

Then later in the day I snapped this picture of what I think are Wood or Tiger Lilies. I've never seen ones this red before. This picture doesn't have any special filters or anything. They look like this in real life.

Taken with my iPhone.

I went out the other day to practice with my bow. I wasn't out long however. I had to hunt in the wooded area behind my target backstop for over shot arrows and the mosquitoes were voracious. I went in missing an arrow. Between mosquitoes and thick undergrowth I called it quits after shooting just 30 arrows. Hubby went out yesterday and cleared a lot of the undergrowth so I can at least see where I walking. While out admiring his handiwork I found my lost arrow and surprising enough, the LED nock was still glowing faintly. Hopefully the winds will calm down by tomorrow so I can get out to practice again.

Our internet will be looked at/repaired on Wednesday but sadly there will not be a LTE install for a while. It seems that they are having some technical issues. *sigh*

I'm still keeping busy in my craft room. The basement has been a great place to hang out during our little heat wave. Speaking of which, I should finish putting together some cards that I've been working on.

wild flowers, weather, birds
