The flurries we've been getting have graduated to snow. It's been snowing since late last night. It looks very much like winter in my part of the world. It's supposed to warm up above freezing by the end of the week so the snow will probably all melt. I will have to shovel or sweep the steps but I don't think I'll bother with the snow blower.
Hubby went back to Fort McMurray today. He drove in 4 wheel drive mode the whole way and said that the snow was ankle deep when he drove up the driveway of his "home away from home".
Today I am thankful:
1. That Hubby arrived safely back in Fort McMurray.
2. For the almost unbelievable quiet as the snow falls gently to the ground.
3. That my sister and brother-in-law are safe. (they live on Vancouver Island and didn't feel the 7.7 earthquake which hit off the northern coast of British Columbia last night)
family,
thankful
