season of thanks

Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving in October. God is good. I've been so blessed, so this month I'm going to post about what I'm thankful for.

1. I'm thankful that God has given me this day.
2. I'm thankful for my Hubby, who loves and supports me.
3. I'm thankful for rain, it's been very dry of late.

I spent most of today trying to prep for my Christmas in October card workshop. Things are not going very well. Our oldest daughter came over to help out and we eventually came up with two designs which I'm more or less happy with. Three more to go. I'm very thankful for all of her help today. After today's struggles I've decided that this will be my last workshop. They are a lot of work and most of the time don't result in any orders. I'm also going to let my demonstrator's website lapse. It costs me $15.00+ a month and hasn't generated any business or contacts in over a year. I will continue to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator but as a hobby demonstrator only. At one time I thought that I would be able to earn money by holding classes and workshops but I realized pretty quickly that I don't have the drive or ambition necessary. So it's time to let go of a dream. I'm not sad, a little relieved actually.

It's getting late. Tomorrow will be another busy day. Time for bed.

thankful, stampin' up!
