It looks and smells quite fall-like today. It's overcast, many trees are starting to turn colour, quite breezy and you can smell damp leaves which are scattered on the ground after last nights' rain. It's cool but not crisp and officially fall doesn't arrive for another 12 days so I'm quite okay with cool but not crisp temperatures.

My visits to the chiropractor are starting to make a difference in how I feel which is wonderful. I enjoyed my walk with Maggie this morning and I suspect she had fun too as there were lots of interesting things to sniff. She used to chase leaves when she was a puppy but doesn't seem so interested in them now. Of course most of the leaves are plastered to the road or weighted down in the grass by rain.

Our yard sale on Saturday was very successful. All of my big items sold as well as quite a few of the retired stamp sets I brought. I think this was best year for both myself and our oldest daughter. Usually one or the other of us does fairly well, but this year was quite profitable for both of us. In a week or so, when I've caught up with other things around the house, I'm going to list my stamp sets on a local buy and sell community(?not sure what it's really called?) on Facebook.

Hubby is back up north after taking last week off. He accomplished quite a bit around the house and was a big help lugging big and heavy things out to the truck for the yard sale. I now have a laundry/slop sink in the basement and a new stainless sink and cupboard next to our stacked washer and dryer upstairs. It's handy having the washer and dryer upstairs but it sometimes looks cluttered so now I can put things out of sight.

Well, I guess I should get to the real reason I logged on, pay my bills and then get ready for my next chiropractor appointment.
