I didn't think I'd be online much but I also didn't think I'd be awake at 02:34 because my legs and feet are aching. Too many trips up and down the basement stairs, too many times up and down the ladder and step stool... I need to get in better shape.
I finished painting the guest room today and it looks pretty good. The painters tape is now gone and the switch plate cover and electrical socket covers are back where they belong. Hubby is going to change the over head light fixture, put up the curtain rods and mount wall lamps tomorrow. Then we will unpack the boxes of bedding and art work for the wall. The room should be ready for my Mom's arrival.
After painting this morning I made two Christmas stockings and I am pretty happy with the results. I also did a load of laundry and balanced the cheque book. My prayers were answered; I asked God for enough energy to do what I need to. You would think I'd be sound asleep 'cause I am definitely tired. I've taken a couple of Advil and hopefully they will kick in soon so I can get a few hours of sleep.
