31 years
Today Hubby and I have been married 31 years. It doesn't seem like it's been that long. We often joke that we must really love each other because we downsized from a queen size bed to a double a few years ago. We aren't like newlyweds to be sure but I believe that we love each other more today than we did when we got married. We were so young, so naive. We've been through a lot over the years. Many, many separations due to military deployments far from home. There were times when we didn't like each other much and most recently my breast cancer scare. One of us was always holding on to "us" when the other couldn't and here we are today celebrating our 31st anniversary. I can't imagine my life without him. I hope the next 31+ years will be a little smoother and just as much fun.
