Unfortunately, as someone who's dealed with Justin he tends to treat those near him pretty poorly. Especially the girls he has crushes on. While, I'm rather lucky to never be one of those I saw the way he treated the others. He would follow them like a puppy dog and get his feelings hurt when they didn't return those feelings.
Justin has a bad track record of this. It is why he's lost countless friends over the years. He's damn near driven all of us insane over the years and I got to the point where I didn't care anymore. I do not talk to him and I don't associate with him simply because I've seen what he's capable of.
I don't know you well, but well enough to know that you efforts weren't worth him. It's sad to know what kind of things happen when you deny someone that you cannot return feelings for.
Justin needs to grow up; Be realistic. The girls who pursue him, he ignores yet chases girls who have openly told him there's nothing more than friendship. And when those girls prove time and time again that they are interested only in a friendship, he stabs them in the back and moans about it to anyone who will listen.
It's sad, really. But maybe he needs to focus less on cosplay, anime, etc. and perhaps go back to college and get his life back on track? But he still plays the same childish games...
