[PSP] Kiniro no Corda - Tsukimori Ren [Len] (2nd Play) & Hihara Kazuki (First Play)
Aniki disturbed me at work by telling me that SuzuKen will voice the 4th Imagin/Imajin in Denou/Den-O. The crazy artistic purple one? Serious? JOY. Actually Aniki's message was, "Did you know that Shinn Asuka will be the 4th Imajin?" Speaking of Shinn... I don't get Haruhiism and I know most of you would've probably seen that Hare Hare Yukai dance in front of a train station in Akibahara, but there's something disturbing about having a Shinn doing the Hare Hare Yukai dance. (But it's the appearance of Darth Vader that killed me deded.) They have a Kyon at the back, but I don't see a Koizumi woooe. And a Yuki with a donkey's head. If you want to compare, original one here and... a Hard Gay (not the real Razor Ramen, though) version.
All that playing of the La corda d'oro game is taking a toll on me. A total of 5 hours of sleep in two days. I was 30 minutes late on one day and when I opened the door of the office, the Director of my department was about to open it. 8D;; Ah well, she herself turns up late like today sometimes, no biggie. Anyway I did play Tsukimori again and got the best ending this time. Ah, his confession makes me all fluffy *teh lame* and I managed to unlock a couple more CGs/events which I didn't get the first time I played. And after that I played Hihara for summer88, but I took over 70 pics (including gameplay, actually) so I'll split Hihara's into two posts.
So yeah, I played again. Because he's my favourite and I'm biased hur hur. I managed to be the victor of the 1st Selection this time!
Tsukimori: Congratulations on being the champion, Hino-san. You're the first. (<--- ? I thought it's odd if he's somewhat repeating himself)

XD Oddly enough, when I poked him another day, he told me not to take everything he said to heart and not to think so much about it or something (I don't remember, but it went along those lines). Awwww. See this is why I love them tsundere types.

It's his Hihara face arrrrrrgh. I hate "Len" so I'm sticking to "Tsukimori Ren". I'm just picky with Kanji names. English is supposed to be his favourite subject or something (that's why his song Fill my heart is ridiculously peppered with English + part-Engrish) so I don't know why he wants to call himself "Len" when he should know that there's no "L" in the Japanese language and the Hiragana for his given name is Ren. Ayli and I agree that "Len" reminds us too much of "Lent". XD But I'm not that anal about this since I always call the characters by their family names anyway.

The first time I played, I accepted and let him call me Kahoko (see the yellow tag?). This time, I picked the second option, which is to call me by my pet name "Kaho". Basically I'm playing as Hino Kahoko, Kahoko being my first name, and "Kaho" the pet/"ai/koi" name, making it more intimate or something haha corny.
Before the Last Selection. I opened up the full dialogue/message box.
Long story short, he asks what's the matter, and then apologises because while he'd like to listen/talk, sensei (darn you Kanazawa) is calling for him, so we'll talk later blah blah.
So, the results of the concours.
Overall winner is Tsukimori, while I'm the second. I swear, if you do really well for your first two selections, you can never do well in your last one. I mean seriously, I picked a song when I have full points for, with the required keywords and well as two skill thingies but I still placed last in the Last Selection. Tsukimori, you cheater, just because you're in love with me and vice versa, the game makes it that no matter which guy (or girl D:) you picked, he/she will win overall (thus pushing you to the lower ranks) so he/she will go for the stupid interview with Amou in the ending before the person runs off to find you. I should've gotten first in the Last Selection!

Happy picture. The end. No wait, because there's the confession, I got the best ending! It's the same one as this one here. I want to see the Corda 2 PS2 ending (not the song version) though. I heard that even the best ending is sad. In the second game, he decides to pursue his music studies in Vienna, so it somewhat ends with him saying that that should you continue studying too, he's hoping you'd go to Vienna and that he'll wait for you there. So it's kind of a bittersweet ending. If you have seen the PV, (KAJIIIIII) he says, "Did I lose you in exchange for music?" at the end. T_T Anyway that's why the fangirls are making fun of him being a computer/technology retard, because sheesh Tsukimori, even if you're in Vienna there are things called THE INTERNET and e-mail, phone calls etc. Instead he'll be waiting lol. His retardness makes me love him more, for some reason. XD
I wish there's a translation for Happy Time because I love Tsukimori's first singing line, "tsukareteru nara murishinai hou ga ii" (If you're tired, you don't have to push yourself) aw, it's like, his hidden soft side.
I was also watching Corda seiyuu vids and I kept watching this Yunoki-Hihara scene too. I don't get the "kappa" part though. I think it means water imp, but doesn't really fit in the conversation, because Hihara/MogitaMorita said, "I didn't bring/don't have a kappa, neither do I have an umbrella... or a car..." My fave parts were Yunoki turning black and stumbling over his words and the "Tada... tada... tadaima!" The Tsukimori-Shimizu one was less funny, but I like the "So it's about learning about your enemies/rivals just for the concours?!" "Saa... I don't know." "...I don't know either." part XD)

There's a lot of convos where he keeps saying he should be nice to his kouhai/me, he wants to know more about me, wants to be more than friends (but not rabu-rabu yet) etc. Why are you so nice, Hihara? T^Tb! There's also a scene when I was playing at work, where he asked me if "kouhai needs help" but when I asked him to help me out, he said he's not too good with a violin (realize it sooner, gee) since he plays the trumpet so he said he'll look up on it. Pfft.
Hihara: Gomen gomen, I guess you're scared because I've suddenly said something weird.

The words at the side are the keywords. At the beginning of each selection, Kanazawa-sensei will give you a whole list of keywords (kinda like the theme for the selections) so you must pick a song which contain the keywords. For example, if one of the keywords for the selection is "goal" you must find a song with "goal" and practise on it. The keywords are in orange boxes, so it's pretty easy.

See the circle thing? Green is elegance, blue is sadness, and pink is cheerfulness. Each piece you play comes with some points for these. For example, if you play Ave Maria, you'll get more Sadness and Elegance points and if you play Gavotte (which has a happy theme), you'll get a lot of Cheerfulness. Right now Hihara likes me (since he's walking towards me) but I'm mildly interested in him since I'm standing still but facing him. Tsukimori's a little interested in me since he's facing me and I like talking to him. >_>;

Speaking of Corda, the anime finally ended uuu. For some reason, I teared up when Hino was playing Ave Maria. I have no idea why, I was just watching her and listening to the song and then my eyes just teared up. Maybe the song was that good? I think the Ave Maria is pretty sad-sounding anyway (and when you keep on playing the piece in the game, you'll get lots of points for Elegance + Sadness). And I like Tsukimori's performance... er, 24 Capris-something? I was wondering why the start of the piece sounded familiar and realized that the tune was used in the violin part of my fave Tsukimori song, Fill my Heart. Unf. Heck, I have put this song up like three times, but I'm putting it up again. 8D He's the best singer out of all the guys anyway even Backup thinks so and she doesn't even watch the series.

I was playing a piece and I suck AND Tsukimori clearly thought so too. XD;; The music students there are somewhat okay with it. Told you the guys in the concours are extremely picky.

The words at the side are the keywords. At the beginning of each selection, Kanazawa-sensei will give you a whole list of keywords (kinda like the theme for the selections) so you must pick a song which contain the keywords. For example, if one of the keywords for the selection is "goal" you must find a song with "goal" and practise on it. The keywords are in orange boxes, so it's pretty easy.

See the circle thing? Green is elegance, blue is sadness, and pink is cheerfulness. Each piece you play comes with some points for these. For example, if you play Ave Maria, you'll get more Sadness and Elegance points and if you play Gavotte (which has a happy theme), you'll get a lot of Cheerfulness. Right now Hihara likes me (since he's walking towards me) but I'm mildly interested in him since I'm standing still but facing him. Tsukimori's a little interested in me since he's facing me and I like talking to him. >_>;
For my Tsukimori game. 3.45am in the morning haha I play at crazy hours. Tsuchiura's interested in me because I have a lot of Sadness points (I think he's the one who likes Sadness) but sorry, Tsukimori and I are walking towards each other. XD

Speaking of Corda, the anime finally ended uuu. For some reason, I teared up when Hino was playing Ave Maria. I have no idea why, I was just watching her and listening to the song and then my eyes just teared up. Maybe the song was that good? I think the Ave Maria is pretty sad-sounding anyway (and when you keep on playing the piece in the game, you'll get lots of points for Elegance + Sadness). And I like Tsukimori's performance... er, 24 Capris-something? I was wondering why the start of the piece sounded familiar and realized that the tune was used in the violin part of my fave Tsukimori song, Fill my Heart. Unf. Heck, I have put this song up like three times, but I'm putting it up again. 8D He's the best singer out of all the guys anyway even Backup thinks so and she doesn't even watch the series.
