[PSP] Kiniro no Corda - Tsukimori Ren [Len] (1st Play)
Time crawled today when I was at work because I was dead beat. Why? I only had two hours of sleep yesterday this morning due to non-stop playing of the La corda d'oro PSP game. 8.30pm to 4.45 am GO ME! Yes, I took 8 hours to complete the whole game. I didn't know it would take so long, because I thought, how hard would it be to date people? I never thought about the concours and that practice would take so long etc FAIL.
But at least it was a success!
SCOOOOOOOOOOOOORE IT'S TSUKIMORI 8D Dunno whether it's a normal or the best ending.

Yeah, picture is horrible because I had to switch off the flash function. I wish I could screencap in PSP or something and then transfer the images in the memory card to my laptop. Anyway this post is for xaevyn (and any Corda/Tsukimori fans on my flist but there are oh-so-few) to fangirl over the Tsundere Prince-slash-Computer/Technology Retard.
I'm gonna cut a lot of the crap about the intro. Basically there are Lili and Amou (and your two friends talking about the Violin Romance orz) for the intro. After the long talk, you'll have to find fairies (you'll get EXP when you hunt for them) in order to unlock all the music pieces, and then find another type of fairies so that you can play the pieces. Then you have to perform in front of people to earn Bravo Points AKA BP AKA MONIES. Best if you start playing the pieces around regular students, because they'll give you BP no matter how shitty your performance is I cringed at the bad parts half the time, which is better than the music students, because they are really stingy. When you're better, you can perform in front of the music students to get BP, but they're really picky and would usually give you lesser BP than the regular students. And the guys in the concours + Kanazawa-sensei + Ousaki are even more picky. >_>
Then of course there's the concours: the 4 selections. For some reason I managed to whip Tsukimori's ass well, even Hihara did in the 1st Selection and placed higher than him despite my button-mashing. Maybe I just picked the right song. <--- is still very clueless about the keywords for the themes for each of the selections
Anyway, stuff which happened before the 1st Selection include Tsuchiura (you'll need to talk to him though) suddenly being able to see and hear Lili and thus getting dragged into the concours as well no thanks to me and/or Lili XD and the notebook part which is in the anime and manga. I didn't take any pics of the 1st Selection, because I was a newbie and running around and talking to Hihara instead of Tsukimori. Tsukimori had a :/ face every single time I try to talk to him...
Anyway, pics. (Mostly same ones) Riiight after the first selection. xaevyn, this was the part I was squealing about to you yesterday. *_* I used the default name, Hino Kahoko btw.

Guess he's already starting to like me or something, because he asks if we could go home together again. Nfufufu.

From what I remember, he was talking about something a classmate mentioned to him and all of a sudden, he kinda asked me out (he was embarrassed XD). HELL YES I SAID OKAY.
So uhm. The day out (on a Saturday~).
Tsukimori: Is there a place you would like to go to? If it's fine... would you like to go to the sea? (A direct translation is "look at the sea"... I read that he likes the colour blue?)
IT'S THE SEASHELL SCENE FROM LAST WEEK'S EP. You know, where Hino (the main character in the anime/me/whatever) sees a pink shell and tries to touch it but he stops her because she might hurt her fingers and she's a violinist and that she should take care of her fingers because they're important/"it's because music is born with these fingers" blah blah blah...
One day, he asks me if he could call me by my first name. You know how in Japan, people would address one another by their family names unless they're reeeeeally close right? Anyway I said OKAY lol.
Tsukimori: Kahoko... It's a nice name. I like it a lot. *HIHARA FACE*

LOOK IT'S ME. He likes that dress, flower thingy for the hair and earrings so I wore them of course. I'm guessing that in your performance for every selection, the guy who's most enchanted by you (lol cheeeeesy) would appear. For the first two, it was Shimizu wtf. Probably because for the 1st Selection, I forgot to buy a dress and had to perform in uniform (I had the flower hair accessory thing + earrings though) and he happened to like that combination. I think. I don't remember. He has a uniform fetish, though. For the second one, I think it's because my skills were high, so if you want to chase after him, you'll have to make sure that your skill level is high. Tsukimori wants an all-rounded thingy (long story), which was easy. From what I heard Yunoki wants lots of BP (AKA MONIES, remember). As for the 3rd Selection, I skipped it so I don't know who has the hots for me haha.

End of the game lalala. Because I was clueless about the keywords thing, my performances pretty much sucked so that's why Tsukimori's rivalry points for me are so low. XD But I managed to bag the dude anyway. He won the concours overall, so while the credits appear, Amou interviews him, but then he brushes her off because he had something important to do. (Actually before the performance, he did say he was gonna talk to me after the concours 8D) Then he ruuuuuuuuuuuns all the way up to the roof where I was apparently playing a music piece (the music stops when he opens the door) aaaaand...
Tsukimori: ...That is... I want to know what you think of me.
WHY WHY WHY ISN'T THERE A "MOCHIRON DAAAAAAAISUKI CHOU RABU-RABU etc etc" and all that crap kind of options? D:

SAY THAT YOU LOVE ME ALREADY YOU IDIOT. [/button mash] I love Taniyama's voice in this scene. His uncomfortable "Sono..." was very convincing.
And then the Tsundere Prince hides his embarrassment by talking about music (WTF! WTF! Ah well, he was more cheesy in the second game which I need T_T alas, no PS2 console) and...
Tsukimori: Please... (more like, "I beg of you" but that sounds strange on him) would you let me listen (to your music) once again?
And yada yada happy ending. I wish there was a kissu option. I hope for too much lol. Now I'm waiting for his single next month, because it has Tsuki no Kakera and yes, that's his seiyuu/Taniyama singing as Tsukimori.
If you love dating Sims games, try it out. Beats Meine Liebe anytime. Besides, Meine Liebe is on the GBA and there's no voice-acting, which sucks because it had a pretty stellar cast in the anime. I'm playing Tsukimori again (currently halfway through the first selection, and then I'll play Hihara and maybe Yunoki after that, because teletha loves him.

Nothing interesting at work. I mentioned that I was an intern there last year and one thing never changed: I'm still afraid of the door handle. Ugh. I didn't realize it either until I wanted to go to the loo (on my first day of work, of course) and I tapped the door handle with one finger before opening the door. I was "...What did I do that for?" when I was walking. I can't believe the instinct to tap the handle first is still there! See, last year the door handle would always somewhat electrocute me, Xin Yi and another intern. There were times when we just touch the door handle and then there's a bzzzzzt sound of the static and we'll just go OWWWWW. It doesn't electrocute me now except sometime later last week. But anyway I still tap the door handle first... it's kind of a habit already guh.
Also someone farted on the train on my way home. Public enemy, silent killer. D:
