Tired
We rearranged the living room today and I love it. It seems more spacious, open, and still has more seating for people. Today was a beautiful day. I love warm summer days that dissolve into beautiful rain storms in the late afternoon or early evening. I walked the dog with the setting sun. This morning we joined friends at bouncetown and Rayn was more independent than he has ever been there. He is growing up so fast and I love him so much just the way he is. Yesterday he was on the phone with Grandma when he suddenly decided he was done with the conversation. He abruptly interrupted her to say "bye bye" and handed me the phone. Two seconds later he looks up in panic and says "Mama, I need to say I love you to Grandma!" He is so sweet. He loved the fireworks in Estes Park, but even more than the fireworks he loved the company. He adores my friends, big and small. He has adopted the bear I received from the hospital when Gabriel died as his own. Of all the bears in all the world he chose that one. (You may think I'm exaggerating, but he has a lot of stuffed animals to chose from). He has given the bear a piggy back ride, taken him on a walk while holding his hand, danced with him, and obviously bonded with my Gabriel bear. I wonder if it's because he knows how precious that damn bear is to me. I am enjoying a quiet glass of wine and then it is off to bed with me. Goodnight friends.
