Off to see the Wizard!
I got to see Wicked yesterday! It's been playing at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts (Oriental Theater) for a couple years, and I've wanted to see it since before I moved to Chicago. On Tuesday for my birthday, I was given tickets to see the musical.
It was fantastic!
I've read the book (or, rather, most of it - I have about 20 pages to go, but I haven't picked it up in over 6 months), and wanted to see the musical. I loved it. I forgot how much I love musicals (especially traditional musicals; I saw Rent last year in SF, and it's more what I would call a rock opera). The show had good music and cast, and was extremely fun and comical. I can't wait to see it again!
