While driving to work on Friday I heard a news clip on the radio about something radioactive having been detected on I-75 between the London and Corbin exits. This surprised me mostly because how exactly do you detect radiation on the interstate? I wasn't aware of any fanciful detectors anywhere in the throes of Kentucky. I remembered it this morning and decided to check the local news websites to see if there were any updates on it. There's not. It seems like they'd want to keep us updated on something that could potentially kill us all, or make us sprout second penises and third eyeballs in the least.
It's The Stand all over again, I bet I'll get gunned down when I try to take my brother home on Sunday.
