Since the schedule shift, my days off have become Sunday and Monday. So it's been a while since I went shopping and I wanted to find some new jeans. I hate shopping for pants because it's so difficult. If you like them, that's totally cool, but I can't STAND skinny jeans. Seriously, I can't fit my fat ass in them... Lol, the only time I tried a pair in my size (which is for the waist), I couldn't pull it up over my thighs. I don't get how anyone can wear them.
Weight-wise and size-wise, I'm super far from heavy, but seriously... No one believes me; that I actually have a decent amount of meat on me... I do.
And the last time I tried to go jeans shopping, all I could find were skinny jeans or jeans that semi-fit, but don't fit!
Anyways... I figured I would go tomorrow since it's my day off and I asked my mom if she wanted to come with me.
Then she was like, "Why don't you go tomorrow? Where do you want to go?" (I asked yesterday.) I replied, "Market Mall." So yeah, she said, "Why don't you go tomorrow after church?"
Considering our church is really close to that mall anyways, I figured, why not. On top of that, my mom got a $15 gift card for Subway from work so that solved our lunch dilemma.
Mainly, I had to go there because I wanted to use up the remaining money on my gift card that I got from work at Christmas. (Remember, part of it went to buying my curling rod~) My other option for malls was one that was like a half-hour's drive away... Pretty much, I never go to that mall unless there's good reason to. The last time I went there it was because we were watching a movie there. Easier access for a friend who lives downtown and doesn't drive.
Annnyways... We did a bit of shopping today and I'm proud to say! I spent all of the remaining money AND more.... hahaha~
I officially got my first pair of expensive jeans. I really like Silver Jeans, but they're pricey! And my first pair, I got from Winners so it was like half of the regular price. My mom was like o__O;; after she asked my sis how much they were. Like a hundred bucks... Yikes!
But yeah, it's sooo hard to find pants that fit. It's unbelievable how difficult it can be.
And with further browsing around, I managed to find a really nice sweater that was on sale - $20! It's perfect here since it's pretty much cold 80% of the time. And I love wearing sweaters XD
Since I found something today, that gives me something to do tomorrow. I get to hem them since I have to fix the length on aaall pants I buy anyways. My mom said to get it tailored, but I'm cheap. Don't need to spend the extra $9 when it's only on jeans. No one can see how bad of a job I do anyways since they're dark blue :P
*sigh* Makes me happy when I can find what I want without a hassle!
