Question about building and renovation. Fic related.
Bit of a strange one for you.
If money, resources and red tape were no object does anyone have any idea how long it would take to get a building renovated/adapted?
Basically my immortal OC Siannon O'Niall runs a business that buys, renovates and adapts old churches (in the UK at least as we have a lot of empty churches now) and ensures they are still consecrated before selling them onto fellow immortals so they can live on Holy Ground. What I don't know is how long it would take to do such a thing in realistic terms. Six months? A year? I have no idea. What I do know is that in RL planning permission and red tape take up an awful lot of time in any building project but as this is a fantasy that would not be an issue, I'm just after the physical 'how fast can you build a wall?' thing.
If you don't think it would really matter, tell me. I'm a bit anal about this sort of thing and prefer not to go all hand-wavy and vague if I can help it.
