The deadline date for turning in summer applications was 4/20. I will still accept your application, however, you will be put on the waiting list. Currently, the only jobs we have offered to students are all for 40 hours a week. We don't have any positions for less at this time.
The only other position I know of that may be available is Desk Clerk. This position requires an interview and I know that department plans to finish interviewing tomorrow. You can contact Linda Peeters x:6589 to see if there might still be an opportunity for you.

So, this is the email I get when I asked about the status of my application for summer employment. After a burst of anger, I make some phone calls.
Apparently when I put janitoring, grounds, and painting for 10-20 hrs/wk on my application, they completely ignored my application since those are only 40 hrs/wk positions. SOMETHING THEY DIDN'T LIST ANYWHERE. And they also didn't forward my applications to other places where I could work 10-20. Fuckers.
So I call and I'm all "WTF", and I was told they're finishing the interviewing process tomorrow. So I frantically send out an email begging for an interview, and thankfully I got one for tomorrow.
Jesus motherlovin Christ. So I should find out tomorrow/next week whether or not I can stay on campus for the summer. Fuckin A.
