After WWE Smackdown was over tonight (yes, I watch wrestling, even when Dan isn't home) I was flipping channels and came across 2 interesting movies. The first was Kissing Jessica Stein and the second was Mambo Italiano, neither of which I've seen before. However, both have me thinking about being gay and the issues that can come with that

Why do I feel now, all the more, that so much hinges on me finding another man? Perhaps that's what it would take to unhinge this feeling of deprivation, which gods know I didn't intend...

Hey Sweetie! Really interesting ideas. In the end however, I've always seen you as being the sort of person who would, at some time, end up with another person for the long haul. If you look at it this way, just because your SO is a he and not a she does not mean that you opted out of the more difficult life style. It was a 50/50 chance and it doesn't change your sexual preferences. People in relationships still get to look at, and talk about people they find attractive. It is here that I could see you coming under the sort of fire you feel you missed. At the same time, the fact that your dad was so cool about it I'd like to think shows that public perception of the "non-straight way" is relaxing a little. then again, I'm not involved in the GLBT community, so I wouldn't know.

Anyways, very cool of you to still be honest with your bisexuality. You don't describe it or write it off as an experimentation or a phase.
