Family and I went and saw Harry Potter today.
HOLY CRAP, GUYS. That was a really good movie. Favorite parts:
1. Bill Nighy as Rufus Scrimgeour. I seriously kept imagining Davy Jones. It didn't help that he was affecting similar speech mannerisms.
2. Cthulu apparently lives in the locket.
3. Dobby being a badass. Seriously. "Meet Dobby at the top of the stairs, in ten seconds." Awesome.
4. The really obvious and very appropriate fascist imagery at the Ministry.
But seriously, it was all amazing. They somehow even made the camping seem intense and heart wrenching.
And since I'm probably not gonna be around tomorrow, happy Thanksgiving everybody! And watch the Macy's Day Parade!
