So, Maddie's school is one of the few elementary schools in the county that has a full day on Mondays. What with all of the budget issues however, they'll be going "back" to the half day Mondays schedule next year. I can't say I'm unhappy about that.
They're also threatening the full day kindergarten programs that are in place at some schools in the county. Again, I can't say I'm upset about the prospect. Full day kindergarten was kind of hard on Maddie. I think it would be pretty hard on Nate's teachers too... :)
EDIT: Cutting Full Day kindergarten (for the schools that have it) would apparently save $1.7million, and it's apparently a transportation savings.
